Doula and Childbirth Education Services

I am honored to be of support to women, their partners and the child they are bringing forth into this world.  I believe giving birth is a physical, emotional and spiritual experience.  Furthermore, I believe that birth is a natural process that should be supported while interference is kept to a minimum.

I have discovered that women who are in-tune with their body wisdom and have developed a capacity for being mindful of the present moment seem to accept the flow of labor with more grace and sense of balance; I therefore offer massage/body therapy sessions as a part of my labor and birth support service.  I am also happy to offer prenatal and postpartum massage services to all women.
 

In order to further support women in the development of internal resources useful during the birth process, I also teach a complete childbirth education series which includes learning medical self-hypnosis: Hypnobabies Childbirth Education.

In addition to the services I offer pregnant women, I maintain an active massage and body therapy practice, supporting both men and women on their journey toward optimal health.
